Fried Burrata Recipe. Burrata is Italian cheese made from cow's milk. The outer is a mozzarella base with a clotted cream inside. Provided is another burrata recipe : Roasted Cherry Tomatoes With Burrata And Almond Pesto Recipe . Carefully fry the burrata in vegetable oil, as you don't want the clotted cream to leak through. Bread in the order flour - egg - panko bread crumbs. I love using panko due to its crispy texture when fried. The best tip to know if the oil is ready for frying?! Add a panko bread crumb(s) to the hot oil and see if the oil bubbles. If the oil in the pot bubbles, the burrata can be fried. Use a strainer to flip the burrata. Serve with loaf of bread. Preferably crunchy bread like Italian loaf, Cuban loaf, or French loaf.
