How To Make Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas Pop Treat Recipe. My chocolate covered bananas were mesmerizing with my custom made bunny ears. I bought bunny ear molds for Bunnie's Candy Shop for my chocolate covered treats. Chocolate covered bananas are an easy recipe to make because it is customizable with no baking or cooking required. Other optional toppings are to use other types of nuts, crushed up cookies (tip: Oreos), peanut butter, and cereal flakes. This recipe was perfect for the summertime. Ingredients:
Bananas
Milk Chocolate Almond Bark
White Chocolate Almond Bark
Popsicle sticks
Nonstick Parchment Paper
Baking Pan
Toppings:
Mini M&Ms
Coconut Flakes
Cashew Nuts
Coconut Flakes
Rainbow Sprinkles
Marshmallow Fluff
Graham Cracker
Instruction Guide:
Customize which toppings you would like for your bananas.
Peel and cut banana in half. Should make two halves.
Place stick in middle to lay on parchment on top of parchment paper.
Freeze bananas for at least two hours.
Obtain bowls for each topping. Tip: Use food processor for nuts / graham cracker to make smaller pieces for dipping.
When bananas are frozen take out to lay on counter next to toppings.
Cut almond bark in pieces by square. Microwave 30 second increments and mix until smooth for dipping.
Dip each banana one by one before adding toppings. Tip: For S'mores version use spoon for marshmallow fluff - milk chocolate - graham cracker.
Place in freezer for 5 minutes before eating.
